Deputy Investment Officer (DIO) - Gaian Civilization Fund

• Coordinate legally strucutring Odoomber's in-house Impact Fund known as Gaian Civilization Fund I

• Raise capital for the Fund

Chief Knowledge Officer - Gaian Civilization Fund

• An all-rounder who can effectively hold coherence on knowledge across a wide spectrum of domains, including technology, spirituality, education and intentional communities

• Author detailed blueprints to serve as the core knowledge base of investee companies

• Business strategy authorship as well

  • marketing collateral

    • Websites creation

• India Launch Coordination

  • Manage logistics

• Key Hires per business strategy for each investee

• Refine knowledge base in Agile culture via build-measure-learn (i.e. real-world-results as inputs)
   

Deputy Legal Officer

• The deputy legal officer will be an attorney who co-manages all aspects of the legalese associated with dealmaking both in the hotel commercial real estate and the Impact fund domains.​

Deputy Investment Officer (DIO) - Hotels

The Deputy Investment Officer reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and helps him with the following: 

 

1. Own Investment Waterfall Models: Own, strategically customize per deal, and manage the investor waterfall spreadsheets and become a subject matter expert in the topic of commercial real estate investor waterfall and associated concepts such as sponsor promotes, preferred equity, etc

2. Explain all the above spreadsheets to all relevant current or potential stakeholders or players with a view on getting deals done, including to all CPA’s and their High Net Worth Clients whom your colleagues will put you in touch with.

3. Underwriting : Own and manage the pre-deal spreadsheets such as, but not limited to, the proformas which include expense and income forecasts; financial vetting - recommending which deal to do next.  You will be introduced to our advisory board who will train you in hotel underwriting on an as-needed basis.

4. Co-analyzing, along with the CEO,  loans with the most favorable terms

In addition to the above primary responsibilities, you will have an equal right as the other principals to invest your own cash in deals.   

 

The DIO will become an owner, subject to vesting, of Founders stock in the Odoomber Tree Capital corporation.  Pro rata to his/her ownership position in the PBC, the DIO will also have ownership position in each LLC of each individual deal moving forward.  This arrangement (and the vesting of the Founders stock) is subject to the DIO consistently fulfilling his/her responsibilities.

 

VP Brand Development
The VP Brand Development will have strong experience in developing, launching and expanding new hotel brands.  For compensation, the VP Brand Development will be provided base salary; a profit split of each deal; and an ownership position (“Founders stock”) in the Odoomber Tree Capital umbrella entity.

 

 

Designated Broker and Capital Placement Specialist
The Designated Broker will identify and vet new investment opportunities and catalyze their manifestation. Investments may be any of the following types:

• Core

• Core-Plus

• Value Add

• Opportunistic (new build development)

 

In addition, he/she will leverage his connections with high-net-worth individuals and will receive capital placement fees for onboarding client families. 

 

For compensation, the Designated Broker will earn the broker’s commission on each deal; a  profit split of each deal in exchange for capital placement; and an ownership position (“Founders stock”) in the Odoomber Tree Capital umbrella entity.

 

Hotelier Client Family Liaison: Part-time

The Hotelier Client Family Liaison will have a good network of connections with families and other professionals who own hotels, who are capable of understanding our value proposition in terms of our own in-house brand development, and who have substantial capital to deploy and who can be readily on-boarded into our clientele community

 

The Hotelier Client Family Liaison will earn Capital Placement Fees for onboarding hotelier families who invest in Odoomber Tree Capital deals, for every deal they invest in.

Agile Presence Worldschool

Agile Presence Worldschool Principal & Head Scrum Master

Agile Presence Worldschool, a portfolio investee out of Odoomber Tree Capital’s Gaian Civilization Fund, is looking for a Principal & Head Scrum Master to be based primarily out of Mumbai.  We are looking for:

• Launch Agile Presence Worldschool and University

• A trained Agile Scrum Master, or willing to get trained & certified

• A college degree preferred

• Experience with Presence

  • Student of Eckhart Tolle’s teachings

  • Can with agility research and recommend supportive teachings to the child to help him grasp the core Eckhart teachings and books, which are the first year’s core curriculum

  • Ability to follow the Shaashwut Sampraday and co-develop its philosophy

    • This would be a joint appointment to Shaashwut Mundir, a sibling investee, as SME & Advisor to co-create content for it

• Mumbai-based

• Background in Vedanta and Yoga philosophies

• Experience practicing yoga

• Can coordinate with local institutions such as Dnyan Prabodhini for cultural, values, linguistic modules

  • Identify and onboard SME’s for specific modules

• Follow the Worldschool Master curriculum

  • Joint appointment to Odoomber Tree Capital, which runs the Gaian Civilization Fund and its portfolio investees, as SME & Advisor to co-create content for it

• Connects well with the pupils
